I am project manager at Korea Verband, a non-profit organization based in Berlin. In my job I am raising public awareness and contributing to a better understanding of North and South Korea. I organize and facilitate projects, events, and exchange programs between East Asia and Europe.
I studied philosophy and economics in Bayreuth, Frankfurt and Seoul. Since my first stay in South Korea in 2008, I am drawn to research and project development focusing on the East Asian region. I am particularly interested in studying economic integration, labor markets, and education systems. In my previous positions, I analyzed the high youth unemployment and skill mismatch in South Korea and developed possible solutions with businesses and public organizations.
I am enthusiastic to improve working processes and collaboration in teams. In my job, I apply methods of organizational development and digital solutions to create an open, diverse workspace. I love to learn more about leadership theories, change management, and the future of work.
Feel free to send me an e‑mail or tweet @yannprell if you want to learn more about me, want to collaborate on new projects, or just want to say hello.
